Position : Workday Systems Analyst / Administrator

Position Summary
The Workday Systems Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s Workday platform to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability across Payroll, Finance, and related business functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support system users, enhance processes, and maintain data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the configuration, maintenance, and overall functionality of the Workday system.
- Provide daily operational support to Workday users, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, access management, and report creation or modification.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality within Workday and related Payroll and Finance systems.
- Conduct regular data audits and validations, performing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams across IT, Finance, and Accounts Payable to understand business needs, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Analyze and document existing business processes; propose and implement improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow Agile project management and change management methodologies to prioritize, configure, and test enhancements and updates.
- Develop, maintain, and update system documentation and training materials.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users to ensure effective and consistent use of Workday tools and processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Hands-on experience with Workday system administration , specifically in modules such as Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Expenses, Projects, and Assets .Strong understanding of Finance and Payroll business processes .Experience in documenting business requirements and creating process documentation.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with Agile project management or change management methodologies preferred.Key Competencies
