Senior Business Analyst - Duck Creek

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a full-time position located in Naperville, IL; Rolling Meadows, IL; Kansas City, MO; Raleigh, NC; or Milwaukee, WI. Summary : The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with Business Solutions Leads, Architects, and IT resources to define and plan new technology solutions and enhance existing ones. This role will also lead, train, and manage other Business Analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality requirements. Responsibilities : Participate in business process definition and document Business Process Flows. Own the creation of Business Requirements and Business Requirement Documents. Translate Business Requirements into Functional Requirements for development. Organize, coordinate, and drive Functional Design Documents for new applications and enhancements. Partner with technical resources to ensure effective translation of functional design into technical design. Build and maintain strong relationships with key business resources. Ensure effective software utilization by maintaining expertise in business processes, product features, functions, and transactions. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications – Must Have : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent (9+ years of related experience). Background or internship in system development and / or business analysis. Basic knowledge of business problems and solution identification. Familiarity with system development methodologies. Strong analytical skills, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, and process tools such as MS Visio. 2+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience. Experience with Duck Creek Policy. Ability to multi-task, manage details, and follow through effectively. Ability to learn new applications and system concepts. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to perform under tight deadlines with high standards while fostering collaboration. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs. Work Schedule : This position follows a hybrid schedule : in-office Monday through Wednesday, with remote flexibility Thursday and Friday.
