Job descriptionPosition is in the Pediatric Operating Room unit of a hospital setting 12-hour night shifts (7p - 7a) scheduled Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday Care provided to pediatric surgical patients in a high-acuity operating environment Responsible for delivering perioperative care to pediatric patients facing a variety of surgical procedures Assists physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Performs and documents nursing interventions and monitors patient status throughout the perioperative phase Engages with patients' families to discuss care plans and discharge information Delegates tasks to support staff within the OR team Adheres to hospital protocols for medication administration, IV infusions, and documentation Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on the rotation schedule Active OK State RN license or multistate compact RN license required Minimum of one year of nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required Applicants must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the hospital High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
