WordPress Front-End Developer

Salary : $52,000 - 52,000 per year

Requirements :

• Proficient in front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery.
• Significant experience working with WordPress CMS, specifically in theme development and plugin customization.
• Understanding of web design principles with a focus on UX / UI best practices to create engaging user experiences.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for developing interactive interfaces.
• Strong grasp of web services (RESTful API, SOAP) integration and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, or SQLite for backend data handling.
• Practical experience in system architecture design and DevOps practices including Docker and Git workflows.
• Capability to work in an Agile environment utilizing project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Awareness of SEO strategies and principles of responsive web design for optimal performance across devices.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web development standards for scalable online stores.

Responsibilities :

Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements to enhance website functionality.

Collaborate with UX / UI designers to turn custom designs (Figma) and user flows into responsive, visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, such as React.

Team up with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure websites are SEO-friendly, high-performing, and accessible.

Integrate third-party APIs and web services to broaden website capabilities.

Maintain version control with GIT.

Conduct testing and debugging to ensure optimal site performance and cross-browser compatibility on various devices.

Work alongside the In-House Business Development team to create tailored proposals for new and existing client projects.

Utilize DevOps tools like Docker for efficient deployment and management of system architecture on cloud platforms such as AWS.

Maintain and improve existing client websites.
