Paralegal – Full-Time
Overview :
A dynamic and multifaceted legal practice is seeking a Paralegal to provide support to attorneys working across several areas of law, including litigation, employment, criminal defense, real estate, and business matters. This role is well-suited for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and related legal materials.
Maintain case files, docket calendars, and track court deadlines.
Assist with trial and hearing preparations, including organizing exhibits and coordinating witnesses.
Conduct legal and factual research.
Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
Organize, index, and manage large volumes of documents and data.
Draft correspondence, case summaries, and internal memoranda as needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal practice management software (experience with Clio is a plus).
Experience with electronic filing in both state and federal courts.
