CORPORATE CONTROLLER

Leading distribution / retail organization in Southern WI and looking to hire a Corporate Controller. This will be a succession plan to becoming the future CFO.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CORPORATE CONTROLLER :

Proactive, hands-on strategic thinker who will own, in partnership with the CFO, the responsibility for accounting and finance.

In-Charge of audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, inventory, and cash management.

In-Charge of any accounting pronouncements and research needed like ASC326, ASC842 and so forth.

Technology skills with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; a knowledge of accounting and reporting software.

Lead, mentor, and retaining a diverse team; (7) direct reports.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CORPORATE CONTROLLER :

BS in Accounting / Finance required; MBA / Masters preferred

CPA is required

15+ years of relevant accounting experience with 5+ years in a leadership capacity

Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and US GAAP

Compensation : $175,000 - $200,000 Base + Bonuses
