Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Supply Chain Buyer with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting operations through effective planning, scheduling, and material coordination to ensure throughput and attainment goals are met.

Salary $90 to $100K

Key Responsibilities

• Own weekly MPS baseline issuance, firming windows, and resequencing within defined authority, escalating capacity breaks or material shortages that breach guardrails.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and align with Operations to protect throughput, stability, and plan attainment.
• Convert approved production plans into short-term, finite schedules and manage weekly execution of work-in-progress (WIP), materials, and allocations under defined fences and policies.
• Publish weekly schedules and execute reschedules within fence rules, coordinating with Production, Materials, and Maintenance for feasibility.
• Monitor raw materials (RM) and WIP versus targets; triage MRP exceptions and lead disposition of blocked stock with Quality and Materials.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Supply to run allocation plays, ensuring order books and work orders remain accurate and up to date.
• Track and report on schedule attainment, plan stability, MRP exception closure lead time, inventory accuracy, and adherence to fences and change limits.
• Participate in weekly S&OE reviews and daily short-interval controls, providing issue resolution and reschedule approvals within guardrails.
• Apply fence rules for resequencing and escalate unresolved capacity or material constraints with quantified impacts. Maintain documentation of action logs and sustain schedule stability metrics.
