Focus : The Global Reliability Instrumentation SME is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the reliability of plant operations through institutionalizing key reliability fundamentals across the enterprise. This role provides instrumentation technology consultation, expertise, training, and leadership ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our assets while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Global Reliability Instrumentation SME Essential Responsibilities :

• Lead standardization efforts for instrument discipline related practices, most effective technology, and engineering tools.
• Identify value creating opportunities in instrument reliability and design. Lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Train and develop Engineers and Instrumentation Technicians in the theory, selection, and application of process instrumentation. Additionally, train and mentor these individuals in various reliability fundamentals that provide positive impact to the life cycle cost of instrumentation assets.
• Participate in capital and expense project design reviews and provide technical guidance on the selection of appropriate instrument technologies, installation methods, and detailed specifications, materials of construction.
• Partner with Corporate Procurement to optimize costs and ensure targeted instrumentation suppliers meet technical specifications and provide continued support to address quality and reliability issues.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex or difficult instrumentation-related plant issues and at times participate in RCI's (Root Cause Investigations), plant technical reviews, and audits.
