Requirements :

• CCI or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer (or registry eligible)
• CPR required
• 1-2 years Echo experience preferred
• Proficiency in 2-D echo w / M-Mode, spectral & color Doppler, stress echo, TEE
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Vascular / Echocardiography or Allied Health

Responsibilities :

Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds & stress echos

Assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures

Conduct EKGs, pulmonary function tests, Doppler studies

Record data in EMR & alert physicians of critical results

Clean / disinfect equipment, manage supplies, and support staff

Precept new employees and supervise students

Maintain HIPAA compliance & patient privacy

Participate in quality improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, CQI)

Patient Age Groups : Infant → Geriatric

Work Settings : Adult & Pediatric, Outpatient, Inpatient
