Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Local Contract Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) Overview The Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse provides complex, high-acuity care to critically ill or unstable patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced life support. The ICU RN delivers evidence-based, compassionate care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for critically ill patients. Manage advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators, invasive lines, and vasoactive drips. Monitor hemodynamic status and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families regarding care and treatment. Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. BLS and ACLS required; PALS or TNCC preferred depending on patient population. Minimum two (2) years of recent ICU or critical care experience required. ADN required; BSN preferred. Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
