Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Salary: Up to $40/hr (DOE) + shift differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with Excellence: Partner with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure compliance with nursing protocols and quality standards.

• Resident Care: Deliver person-centered care and promptly address resident needs or concerns.

• Compliance & Surveys: Participate in facility surveys, maintaining regulatory standards.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.

• Education & Training: Conduct in-service training to keep staff updated on best practices.

• Incident Reporting: Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents appropriately.

• Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review care plans.

• Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies efficiently, ensuring safety of residents and staff.

• Quality Assurance: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving resident care and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Florida

• Experience in nursing home or long-term care preferred

• Strong commitment to professionalism, excellence, and compassionate care
