Assistant Controller Opportunity

A successful candidate will play an integral part of the accounting & finance department. We are looking for someone who can handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. Responsibilities :

• Direct accounting department activities, including full-cycle accounting operations and the monthly close process
• Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G / L analysis
• Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly
• Work in conjunction with the finance team on revenue recognition processes and accurate reporting
• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
• Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required
• Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective
• Act on items beyond formal job responsibilities
