Description :

This position is for an outpatient physical therapist.

The facility specializes in occupational, physical, and speech therapy.

The average patient census is 10-15 patients per day.

Appointments are scheduled in 30-minute intervals, with complex evaluations lasting one hour and simple evaluations / treatments lasting 30 minutes.

Patient types and common diagnoses include general orthopedics, debility, stroke / CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures.

The department has a team of 5 therapists, 1 Lead Therapist, 1 Office Coordinator, and 2 Rehab Aides on site.

The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.

There is no weekend rotation or on-call schedule required.

Holiday expectations are non-existent.

Requests for time off can be approved up to 7 days if the traveler extends the contract to accommodate.

Dress code includes provided polos in teal and black, with a preference for slacks and clean shoes.
