Position Title : Help Desk Specialist II (HDS II)
Location : Joint Base Anacostia, Bolling DC (on-site)
Salary Range : $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience
Position Description :
The Help Desk Specialist II will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identify, research, and resolve technical problems. Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Performance shall include :
Software installation and support of commercial software and related upgradesUpdate solutions database with applicable resolutionsProblem solving, hardware / software installation and configuration based on computing standards, and client support for all network and desktopMonitors and enforces all IT policies and proceduresAssist with setting up new users in IDAM and multiple level security LDAP profilesInstalls and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardwareMaintains, upgrades and repairs PCs / laptops and Window desktop applications for all systemsQualifications : Required :
5+ years of experience in information technology or a related fieldBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience (4 years)Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8140 / 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within 6 months of the date of hire10%-25% TravelDesired :
SAP experienceSecurity Clearance :
