Duties include, but are not limited to : performing routine CTs and CTAs, taking accurate verbal patient histories, and starting IVs to administer IV contrast. You will maintain a positive imaging environment for our patients and act as a liaison between patients and the radiologist.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage computer applications / scanning and quality control on the scanner.Expertise in IV starts / injections.Professional interaction with radiologists, site managers, clerical staff, and patients.Perform ordered examinations of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols established by the site radiologist.Ensure patient care, comfort, and safety throughout the exam.Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Duly Health and Care-sponsored training programs.EDUCATION :
Graduate of an accredited education program in radiology technology required.CERTIFICATION :
ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT).Current IEMA license.BLS - Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR required.EXPERIENCE :
One year of CT-related experience or training preferred.
