Job Description

Multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for their Huntington, New York office!

Responsibilities :

• Lead / manage the design team in executing / delivering structural engineering assignments and plans
• Prepare calculations, charts and graphs
• Monitor work for code compliance and accepted engineering practices
• Projects include low to mid rise buildings and concrete structures
• Perform inspection / analysis of existing buildings
• Oversee development of construction drawings and design specifications for bids
• Develop proposal letter that includes technical scope and fee
• Prepare client letters and reports
• Manage projected financial budgets
• Mentor / train junior staff

Requirements :

Salary is commensurate with experience.
