Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney | $220k–$270k| Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD (Hybrid)
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its growing team in either Washington, D.C. or Baltimore. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established national finance practice with a track record of closing transactions in all 50 states, offering significant client contact, meaningful responsibility, and strong opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities :
Represent clients in commercial real estate finance transactions from origination to closing.
Advise on matters involving multifamily lending and related programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA multifamily transactions.
Conduct and analyze title and survey reviews and provide legal guidance on due diligence and risk mitigation.
Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation and related agreements.
Collaborate with clients and colleagues on complex finance matters and contribute to business development initiatives.
Qualifications :
J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to the bar in Washington, D.C. or Maryland.
2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with multifamily lenders and government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) loan programs is a plus.
Strong title insurance and survey review experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage transactions and interact directly with clients.
