This position is corporate level which covers all sites and can be based out of Plano, TX, Anoka, MN, or Menomonee Falls, WI.
I. Job Summary
Develop and manage the external supply base in Accordance with Virtex Supply Chain standards and policies. Establish and maintain requirements for Supplier performance : quality, reliability, cost, delivery and responsiveness to continuously improve our supply chain. Work with staff to ensure Supplier Management plan is executed.

Daily working relationship with Operations, Program Management, team members. Supply Chain Director is a member of the Senior Leadership team and will work with peers within the team and at various level of the organization. Also reports functionally through Virtex Supply Chain Organization.
Will supervise Business Unit Supply Chain function.

III. Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s (BA / BS) degree in Business, with concentration in Finance, Logistics, Operations or related discipline. CSPM, or CPIM certification preferred. Eight (8) years materials management and procurement experience, with broad exposure to purchasing, materials management and planning, production, commodity management. Minimum two years of supervisory / leadership experience. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, supply chain pull systems, and JIT.
Due to the type of work at the VIRTEX Plano, Texas facility a successful applicants must be a "U.S. Person" (US citizens, US nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Ability to interpret and negotiate contracts, and has excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong basic math skills, ability to calculate values and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, cost benefit calculations, etc.

Ability to communicate effectively with employees from various cultures and at all levels of the hierarchy from shop floor to Virtex Group Executives
Ability to sit for extended periods, stoop, bend, and kneel to file documents, and to lift and carry 50 pounds
