Position Overview :
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities :
Receiving and Stocking : Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and accurately record received items in the inventory system.Picking and Packing :
Accurately pick and pack products based on customer orders, ensuring correct quantities and proper packaging for safe shipment.Inventory Management :
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, assist in cycle counts, and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.Shipping :
Prepare and label packages for shipment, ensuring timely dispatch of orders and adherence to shipping guidelines.Safety and Cleanliness :
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.Equipment Operation :
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners in a safe and efficient manner (training provided if necessary).Quality Control :
Ensure all orders meet company quality standards and report any damaged or defective items.Basic Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.Attention to Detail :
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Physical Stamina :
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods (lifting requirements up to 50lb).Team Player :
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with colleagues. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional long shifts.Basic Computer Skills :
Ability to use inventory software and handheld scanners (training provided).Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience in warehouse or distribution center operations is a plus, but not required.Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.Work Schedule :
