Job Details

  • Physical Therapist role at Everest Rehab Hosp, part of Lifepoint Health, Inc.
  • Position involves responsibility and accountability for care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs.
  • Assess patients' needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions.
  • Work cooperatively with other patient team personnel maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • Observe and evaluate treatment effect and accomplishment of short- and long-term goals.
  • Recommend changes to physician if needed.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments include a wide variety of neuro diagnoses – CVA, Parkinsons, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Orthopedics, Cardiopulmonary, Amputee, Medically Complex patients.
  • Personality fit : Must be cooperative and a team player.
  • Required education : Bachelor's Degree.

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
  • Must have current BLS / CPR certification.
  • Previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy preferred but not required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English; additional languages preferred but not required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 8am-4pm.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 40.
  • Weekend hours as needed.
  • Call requirements : None.
