We deliver Managed IT Services, IT Support, and Consulting to organizations that rely on technology to achieve their goals but do not have an internal IT department. We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator with a focus on CMMC and NIST compliance to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for cybersecurity, compliance frameworks, and process development.
Responsibilities
Compliance & Security
- Lead efforts to build, maintain, and mature the organization’s CMMC and NIST 800-171 compliance programs.
- Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligned with CMMC Level 2 and NIST frameworks.
- Conduct internal security assessments, identify compliance gaps, and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with external assessors, consultants, and clients to ensure audit readiness.
- Maintain documentation for security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Stay current on evolving DoD cybersecurity regulations and CMMC requirements.
Network Administration
Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and wireless systems.Implement and manage endpoint security, patch management, and backup solutions.Maintain and monitor servers, cloud resources, and Microsoft 365 environments.Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and connectivity issues efficiently.Support secure configurations and system hardening for both internal and client environments.Client Support & Communication
Provide high-quality technical support to clients with a focus on security and compliance.Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.Create clear and concise documentation, training materials, and reports for clients and internal teams.Assist clients in understanding their security responsibilities and implementing best practices.Policy Development & Process Improvement
Write and maintain IT and cybersecurity policies, procedures, and SOPs.Collaborate with leadership to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity posture.Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.Participate in internal training and contribute to building a culture of security awareness.Qualities for Success

5+ years of experience in network administration, IT systems management, or cybersecurity.Strong understanding of CMMC, NIST 800-171, and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements.Experience developing and implementing IT security policies and procedures.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and common MSP tools.Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CCNA, CISSP, CMMC Practitioner, or equivalent) are preferred.Exceptional communication and documentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.HR Information
