What You'll Do :

The Employment Support Professional ( ESP ) is responsible for implementing the day-to-day functions of the IPS-Supported Employment Team. The ESP will work collaboratively with clients and employers to develop and provide employment opportunities, psychiatric rehabilitation, and vocational education services. Responsibilities include :

  • Complete vocational assessments with clients to assess interests.
  • Provide job coaching at employment sites.
  • Assist clients in the creation of environmental support.
  • Teach clients necessary skills for attempting to secure and retain employment.
  • Coach clients around identifying strengths in relation to living, current skills, learning ability, work history, and social skills.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and obtain individualized employment opportunities with clients.
  • Assist with the job application process.
  • Help clients build interview skills.
  • Provide assistance and encouragement to Eligible Consumers to explore vocational goals, strengths, and problems.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with intellectually / developmentally disabled persons, mental health, substance abuse, or;
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruiting and job placement, or;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License required
