A leading healthcare organization in Sullivan County is currently seeking a Family Medicine Physician. About the Opportunity : The Family Medicine Physician will join a collegial team of primary and specialty care professionals to provide general medical care to health center patients. On-site : Yes Shift : Flexible - PT and FT positions - weekends required Schedule : 7 hour shifts Facility Hours : M-F 10a-5p, Su 10a-4p Setting : Outpatient Responsibilities : The Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for : Delivering general medical care to patients at the health center. Assessing patients health and implement therapeutic and preventive interventions. Providing education on preventive health practices to patients. Accurately documenting patient histories and treatment records. Conducting initial evaluations and prioritize care based on medical needs. Managing emergency situations to ensure patient stability before transfer. Requesting and analyzing diagnostic tests, ensuring timely follow-up on results. Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed. Qualifications : Medical Degree from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic school Active, unrestricted NYS medical license Active NY DEA Registration Board Certified / eligible in family medicine
