Responsibilities Work in a community hospital setting with a total of 240 staffed beds and a 16-bed ICU Unit assignment is General Ultrasound with patient population ranging from neonates and infants to adults and geriatrics Procedures include abdominal aorta, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen / pelvis, OB / GYN (including first trimester, multiple pregnancies, placenta previa, umbilical cord Doppler), neonatal abdomen / pelvis / renal / bladder / head / heart, renal / pelvis, small parts, and a comprehensive range of vascular studies Transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) and transplant studies (liver, renal) performed Works with Philips ultrasound equipment Uses Epic charting system; Epic experience is required Shift is Wednesday and Thursday nights (18 : 30-07 : 00) and Saturday days (07 : 00-19 : 30) in a blocked schedule First-time travelers are accepted for this position No floating required outside the assigned department or to sister facilities No on-call responsibilities or weekend requirement beyond scheduled shifts Drug screening and labs must be completed as part of onboarding and compliance; failed or diluted drug screens may affect eligibility for assignment Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted Completion of 10-15 hours of required compliance modules is mandatory prior to start, with additional orientation modules factored into initial training Free parking is available onsite Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered local and not eligible for travel pay No travel partners accepted for this assignment Requirements Active ARDMS, RVT, and BLS certifications required ARDMS AB and ARDMS OB / GYN certifications preferred Minimum of 2 years recent specialty experience, including 1 year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months without employment gaps greater than 90 days Experience in a teaching hospital or Trauma Level II setting preferred Must be proficient in neonatal, OB / GYN, adult, and vascular ultrasound procedures as detailed Experience using Philips equipment and Epic EMR required Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor and all references from within the past year Both Kansas and Missouri or compact license must be in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623042.
