End Date : January 31, 2026

Duration : 8-week contract

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every Sunday

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570-$1680

Patient Ratio : 1 : 2

Facility Size : 18-bed birthing center

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Mother / Baby nursing experience required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Certifications : BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP

Proficiency with electronic charting systems

Ability to circulate for C-sections and triage obstetrical patients

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical setting

Monitor and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns

Circulate for C-sections and assist with specialized procedures

Triage and assess obstetrical patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety

Work scheduled night shifts and every Sunday, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts
