POTENTIAL BACKFILL FOR DEANN

wants 4x8 hours a week but they are open to doing 5x8 a week. CST is preferred, ASAP start

Call 1 night per week and every 4th weekend / holiday. 45 minute call response time unless OB in house in active labor then 20-minute response time

General surgery (including colonoscopy / EGD), ENT, Orthopedics, OB / GYN, Cataracts. Our most popular procedures are colonoscopy / EGD (Olympus scopes), lap chole (Olympus equipment), open hernia, cataracts,  C-section, Suction D&C, Total knee / Total hip (Stryker implant systems), basic knee / shoulder scopes, and emergent OB related cases (C / S, Post partum hemorrhage control, suction D&C for missed AB, etc.).

The candidate will need to be strong in endoscopy and general surgery, cataracts, ortho and strong in OB Emergency surgeries (including CSections). Our call staff cover OB related cases only as OB is our only specialty that takes call.

Our CSTs also do the SPD related work for the hospital, so knowledge and independence with steam sterilization and endoscope reprocessing practices is a must.
