Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available working with a preschool-kindergarten caseload in a dynamic K-12 school setting within Bronx, NY. This is a contract assignment lasting the current school year (CSY). The role requires an active license from the New York State Education Department Office of the Professions (NYSED OP).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide psychological services to children in preschool and kindergarten, including assessments, consultations, and interventions.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student development and address behavioral and learning needs.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests, prepare reports, and recommend strategies to promote psychological well-being.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing and adjusting educational plans.
  • Maintain confidential records and comply with district and state regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Licensed School Psychologist credentialed by NYSED OP.
  • Experience or interest in working with early childhood populations (preschool-kindergarten).
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations in a school environment.
  • Schedule and Location :

  • Full-time position from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.
  • Located in Bronx, New York.
  • Contract position through the current school year (CSY).
