A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty in Teacher Education for the course SPED 493-01 / 593-01, Educational & Assistive Technology for Mild / Moderate Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Teach the course SPED 493-01 / 593-01 focusing on educational and assistive technology for students with mild / moderate disabilities

Facilitate learning opportunities for candidates to effectively use computer-based technology in instructional settings

Demonstrate knowledge of assistive technology to support communication and skill development for students with disabilities

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field

5 years of experience as a mild / moderate education specialist or in a related position in K-12 settings

Experience with computer-based technology for information collection and management in education

Knowledge of assistive technology for facilitating communication and curriculum access

Familiarity with formal and informal assessment instruments used in K-12 settings
