Design Engineer

Position Summary :

Aegis has partnered with a manufacturing firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers who have a strong interest in mechanical design and product development. The Design Engineer will support the creation, modification, and improvement of 3D models, drawings, and design documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and update 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CATIA or SolidWorks
• Assist in designing components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies based on project requirements
• Work closely with senior engineers to translate concepts and sketches into manufacturable designs
• Support engineering change processes, including revisions, documentation updates, and design improvements
• Perform basic tolerance analysis, material selection, and manufacturability considerations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement
• Help prepare design reviews, technical reports, and project documentation
• Participate in prototype builds, testing, and validation activities as needed
