Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Anaheim, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE) :
- 4 years minimum of prior related experience.
- Experience with system integration and test.
- Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio.)
- U.S. Citizen.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.Lead small teams to complete tasks on-time and on-budget.Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.Assist in engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, formal validation, and fielding support.Assist in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.Maintain standards compliance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
Proficiency in DOORS.Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.AGILE development experience.REQUIRED EDUCATION :
B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.Education MUST be accreditedWORK HOURS :
Full-Time-1st Shift.ADDITIONAL :
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
