Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the production team and coordinating various aspects of the production process. Acting as a liaison between production staff, department heads, and other personnel, the coordinator ensures streamlined processes and smooth operations. This role also includes managing Paylocity, performing administrative tasks, and assisting with production-related duties.
Responsibilities
- Support the Plan Director by creating reports, managing records, and handling documentation, including expense reports and receipts for employees and plant directors.
 - Assist the Production Manager in gathering, verifying, and reviewing production data entry to generate production reports.
 - Help Department Supervisors by gathering PTO requests and other employee forms.
 - Verify punches and correlations with the daily schedule, review timecards, and prepare detailed 1-on-1 or disciplinary action notes for supervisors.
 - Aid Planning and Production Managers in scheduling key personnel.
 - Assist the Plant Director with data entry for key performance indicators, and create and distribute overtime tracking, absence, and attendance analysis.
 - Support the production team with necessary training and review adherence to SOPs, creating new ones as needed.
 - Coordinate with PD on plant trials and new product training needs.
 - Facilitate communication within production and across all departments in the facility.
 - Collect, label, and store product and packaging samples as requested by PD.
 - Assist Plant Director and Production Manager with process improvement projects and tests.
 - Maintain accurate employee data, timekeeping, and benefits records.
 - Lead team activities and take meeting notes as requested by the Plant Director.
 - Support production lines during tests and record-keeping as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South San Francisco or San Leandro.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 / hr.
