Materials Equity Research Analyst - Metals & Mining Focus

Location : New York City or Fully Remote

Client : Multi-Manager Hedge Fund

We are currently representing a top-tier multi-manager hedge fund in their search for a Materials Equity Research Analyst to join an experienced Portfolio Manager's team. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a well-capitalized, entrepreneurial investment platform with a strong track record of performance and growth.

The Opportunity :

This role offers the chance to work directly with a seasoned Portfolio Manager, contributing deep sector insights and differentiated investment ideas within the Metals & Mining space. The fund is open to candidates from long / short , long-biased , or long-only backgrounds, provided they bring strong buyside experience and a passion for fundamental research.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial modeling on companies within the Metals & Mining sector.
• Generate and present high-conviction investment ideas to the Portfolio Manager.
• Monitor industry trends, commodity cycles, and macroeconomic factors impacting the materials space.
• Collaborate closely with the PM and broader investment team to refine portfolio construction and risk management strategies.
