Job Summary

Performs specialized technical duties involving the preparation and operation of computed tomography (CT) equipment, accurate patient positioning, and acquisition of high-quality cross-sectional diagnostic images for the detection, diagnosis, and evaluation of pathology. Provides CT coverage after normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Performs CT procedures for a variety of patient populations, including scheduled exams, inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients.

Ensures proper setup, operation, and safety of CT equipment.

Positions patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.

Delivers consistent, high-quality service that supports a positive patient and family experience.

Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to patient- and family-centered care in all interactions.
