As a Senior Linux Systems Administrator, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of supporting the CITS contract for USCENTCOM. You will play a crucial role in management, maintenance, and optimization of Linux-based servers in a complex enterprise environment with over 5,000 users, 1,000 servers, and 10,000 endpoints. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, virtual machines, and networking devices.

Play a key role in troubleshooting server performance, ensuring security compliance, and addressing system availability issues.

Collaborate with other IT teams to implement infrastructure solutions that meet operational requirements and contribute to the overall efficiency and security of the organization's systems.

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Administrator Principal must have :

• Certification : Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
• Experience : 5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills :

Building, deploying, and maintaining Linux server environments.

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or higher.

Demonstrated proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Red Hat / CentOS Linux servers.
