Salary : $12.00 - $13.00

By State law, all positions that work with children require all three CHILD CLEARANCES be obtained prior to the first day of work. You should allow 4-6 weeks to obtain all clearances.If you work for at least one month, we will reimburse for the cost of the clearances ($60.25) that are obtained for you to work for us. ICE SKATING GROUP LESSON HELPER

NATURE OF WORK

Assists staff Teaching Professionals in conducting Learn-to-Skate classes centered around developing a love of skating.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assists with teaching skaters in Learn-to-Skate classes via lesson plans provided by the Recreation Department and coach.
• Aid in fitting skates and prepares students before they begin lessons.
• Supervises class activities and daily operations.
• Ensures students are properly dressed and prepared for classes.
• Provides verbal communication and queuing skills.
• Provides friendly customer service and welcomes skaters and parents.
• Attends all necessary program meetings and trainings.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
