Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Hours : Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday

Onsite Only (No Virtual / Voco)

Position Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team inCharleston, SC. This position serves students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in one of the districts alternative school programs . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students who exhibit aggressive behaviors and may be elopers .

Job Details

Full-time, onsite position

Caseload : Students with Autism (alternative school setting)

Focus : Behavioral support, emotional regulation, and individualized instruction

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success

Requirements

Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License

Multi-Categorical Certification preferred

Certification in Intellectual or Emotional Disabilities accepted

Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral challenges strongly preferred
