American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring an OH or compact license, BLS, NRP, and experience with Level IV NICU.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Level IV Neonatal ICU with a focus on infants requiring complex careFloat to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, medical-surgical, and occasionally ED units, as well as different campuses as neededWill float to a BPD NICU with patients having an average stay of 2-3 years, involving frequent trach care and significant family involvementDay shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00Floating to Riverside, St. Ann's, Grant Medical, Dublin Methodist, and Doctors Hospital campuses is possibleCare for critically ill neonates and infants, manage complex respiratory equipment, and provide trach careEngage frequently with parents and families as part of patient careBe prepared for cross-unit collaborative work and adjust to different team structures depending on float assignmentInterview process consists of two steps including an interview with the Float Pool Leader and possible follow-up with the NICU unit managerLate arrivals over three minutes are considered late under the facility’s policy\n \n Requirements\n
Active OH or compact RN license in handCurrent BLS and NRP certifications requiredMinimum 1 year of Level IV NICU experience and 2 years total Level III / IV NICU experienceMust provide two professional references, with at least one from a manager or supervisorCannot have been employed permanently at the facility within the last 2 yearsNo local candidates within a 60-mile radius are eligible\n Benefits\n
