The Quonset Point Facilities Department is seeking a Program Representative to provide oversight for vendors who repair, maintain, and make improvements to physical building structures, exteriors, roofs, roads, parking lots and all other civil / structural elements of the QP Facility. They also assist in the development of long-term facility support plans, on-call technical support, response for emergent facility issues, and provide subject matter expertise for facility issues.
Candidate will coordinate and direct the efforts of the vendors providing planning, budgeting, and work prioritization, as well as technical oversight
A high degree of technical knowledge and experience in areas of facility management, construction, civil engineering, and space planning are critical
A basic understanding of OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, building codes, etc. is essential
Superior written and oral communications skills will be necessary to interact with state and federal agencies, as well as internal customers and with Trades, Legal, Environmental, IH, Safety, etc.
Independent decision making is required.
