About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day 4x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (06 : 30 - 19 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 1 year required. First-timers accepted.

License : Must have an active state license.

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required.

Must-Have :

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience.
• Procedural skills including Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement / Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, and Scrub Procedures.
• Equipment setup and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Experience with Isolation Precautions and Sterile Technique.
• Competency in Middle and Older Adult age groups.
• Cerner charting experience required.

Description :

Position for a Cath Lab Tech available.

Three shifts available : 4x12 Days, or flexible options including 5x8s, 3x12s, or 4x10s.

Daily caseload includes 25 patients.

Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.

On-call duty is required, rotating with staff.

Dedicated call team available to assist.

No floating of clinicians within the hospital.

Block schedule requests are negotiable with management.

Local candidates accepted with no radius restrictions.

RTO restrictions ideally allow for no more than 5 days.

Client may call off up to 36 hours without paying for canceled hours.

Position requires experience in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs.

Special requirements include procedural responsibility for equipment setup and recognition of arrhythmias.

Mandatory participation in infection control protocols.

Candidates are expected to comply with all facility policies throughout the duration of the contract.
