CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, North Dakota, is seeking a  Board-Certified / Board-Eligible General Surgeon  to join our established team. This is a  high-demand replacement position  with immediate patient volume, strong internal referrals, and virtually no competition in the local market.

With access to a modern OR, a supportive medical community, and upcoming program expansions (wound care and bariatrics), this is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon with  trauma, GI, or Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

High Base Salary :  $517,270 guaranteed

Lucrative Incentive Model :  wRVU threshold 6,815; Conversion Factor $75.90

Forgivable Loan :  $155,181 total over 3 years (10% of base salary annually)

Generous PTO :  40 days (320 hours) annually

CME Support :  $3500 for single boarded; $5000 for double boarded physicians

Relocation Bonus :  Up to $15,000

Practice Highlights

Clinic & OR Balance :  2.5 clinic days + 2 OR days per week

Clinic Volume :  15–20 patients / day

OR Cases :  3–6 per day, wide variety including laparoscopic, GI, trauma, and bariatric procedures

Procedures Include :  Colonoscopy, EGD, appendectomy, lap chole, bowel resection, hernia repair, trauma surgery, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and more

Advanced Practice Provider Support :  NP starting Oct. 1 for increased efficiency

Call :  1 : 3 rotation (10 days / month) – with flexibility in clinic scheduling during call weeks
