Job descriptionWork chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc... Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling) Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures Certifications Required : CDA or RDA. Must have Coronal Polishing certification or be working to obtain it by 11 / 03 / 2025. Additional Certifications : X-ray certification, Sealant polishing & Nitrous Certification is a plus. Experience : No previous experience required but must have Dental Assistant certification Job Type : Full-time Salary : Starting at $22.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience Bonus Pay : up to $600 additional per month Schedule : On-site. Monday-Friday Health Coverage - Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
