Job Title : Fabrication Manager

Seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Manager. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, prioritizing workflow through the shop, identifying all tools required for tasks, and identifying safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks. The role also involves performance metrics, process improvement, and lean thinking, as well as preparing, fabricating, installing, and fitting pipe to specifications. Additionally, the Fabrication Manager will install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside the piping system according to plans and applicable specifications, perform tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems, and hoist loads using rigging equipment.

Qualifications include 3+ years of direct supervisory / management experience as a job site foreman, fab shop supervisor, or project manager, 10 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry, ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills, and previous experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred. Welding experience is a plus but not required. Must have good problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadership.
