Refrigeration Engineer

A well-established, safety-focused manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to support production reliability, equipment uptime, and facility operations. This is a hands-on role for a technically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and utility systems to minimize downtime

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

• Support industrial refrigeration and utility systems (compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, condensers, etc.)

• Conduct basic electrical and electronic maintenance independently

• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

Required:

• 6–8 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment

• One recognized maintenance-related certification (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, or maintenance reliability)

• Strong working knowledge of industrial safety practices

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Multiple technical certifications (PLC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, or maintenance reliability)

• Experience supporting high-volume production environments
