Job descriptionBachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field; master's degree preferred. Experience in Teradata development; ability to design changes in Teradata. Strong in performance tuning, statistics, views, stored procedures, and macros. Analytical skills with impact analysis and reverse engineering to understand existing software and code generators. Experience with large datasets, ETL processes, and data warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery). Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Supply Chain domain knowledge including SAP backend tables and DD tables; understanding of supply chain processes (inventory management, procurement, logistics). Overview
Teradata Developer - BI and Data Analytics at Tata Consultancy Services. This role requires Teradata development and data warehouse expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Teradata-based solutions; performance tuning; manage statistics, views, stored procedures, and macros.
- Work with TAS / EAS COTS Workflow Manager and Business Context layer product knowledge and SQL.
- Operate with large datasets, ETL processes, and data warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Collaborate in agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
- Articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
