Job Description

Your next long-term career could start here. At Pace, many teammates have grown with us for decades because we build careers, not just jobs. Join a company striving to be the world’s leading die casting manufacturer and engineering solutions partner.

A day in this role

Picture your morning beginning at the receiving dock, cross-checking a vendor shipment against purchase orders. You verify quantities, log receipts in our systems, and stage materials for their next stop on the shop floor. Throughout the day, you shuttle parts across the plant so each work center has what it needs at every step of production. When paperwork doesn’t add up, you dig in, find the error, and collaborate with teammates to correct it. You’ll also rotate through cycle counts and full physical inventories, and you’ll contribute ideas to improve how we store, track, and move materials. Safety comes first—every task follows company policies and OSHA guidelines.

What you’ll do

  • Receive materials from vendors; verify counts and accuracy, and record receipts.
  • Move materials throughout the facility to keep production flowing.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Support projects that enhance inventory, storage methods, and logistics processes.
  • Understand the product journey from shop order creation through production entry to final shipment.
  • Follow all safety rules and policies, including OSHA requirements.

What you bring

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook); ERP experience is a plus.
  • Clear written, electronic, and verbal communication; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience using electric and manual pallet jacks preferred.
  • Physical demands

  • Lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ascend / descend stairs; sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel.
  • Work in environments with hot and cold temperatures.
  • Benefits and schedule

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and more.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • PTO and 11 paid company holidays.
  • Monday–Friday schedule, with a shorter Friday.
  • Tuition reimbursement and paid company training.
  • Clear opportunities to advance your career.
  • Pace is where engaged, passionate people build meaningful careers with innovation and growth.
