Job descriptionAbility to work independently in a warehouse environment to pull correct inventory to ship. Ability to operate forklift. Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and / or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of manufacturing or chemical plant experience preferred.

Shipping Operator B
Position Type : Hourly, Non-Exempt
Hours : 9 : 00AM to 5 : 30PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday, with possible overtime necessary.
Reports to : Shipping Manager
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Pulls material from inventory to prepare for outgoing shipment.
- Palletizes and wraps outgoing shipments.
- Apply / remove product labels as needed.
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
- Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records.
- Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed.
- Loads trucks or railroad car using a forklift.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
