Outbound Marketing Director Job Overview The Creative Senior Lead is an experienced professional responsible for shaping the overall creative vision and ensuring consistency across all design initiatives.
This role supports the Primary Arms Marketing Design Team by conceptualizing, designing, and executing compelling digital and print media that drive marketing efforts.
Key responsibilities include developing cohesive campaigns across email, website banners, and digital platforms, as well as creating assets for special projects, catalogs, newsletters, business cards, and packaging.
The Creative Senior Lead will manage advanced projects from concept through completion, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with brand standards.
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is required, along with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A strong portfolio is required. Responsibilities and Duties Creative Design & Conceptualization Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of digital and print marketing assets for a variety of media which include email campaigns, web site and landing page UI, catalogs, brochures, product packaging, tradeshow booths, social media content, promotional items design and more.
Generate and develop innovative design concepts and presentations to meet marketing objectives.
Review and provide constructive feedback on other designers’ work to maintain high-quality standards.
Translate marketing objectives into visually compelling campaigns and content.
Campaign Development Design cohesive campaigns for email marketing, website banners, social media, and other digital platforms.
Create assets for catalogs, newsletters, packaging, and branded collateral (business cards, signage, etc.).
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing stakeholders to develop creative for special initiatives and product launches.
Project Leadership & Collaboration Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously from initial concept through final production.
Deliver high-quality creative work within deadlines, ensuring alignment with brand standards .
Collaborate closely with the Sr.
Creative Manager to plan production schedules and manage project priorities.
Act as a liaison between marketing partners, providing creative and technical advice and guidance. Advanced Design Responsibilities Build mock-up art for conceptual reviews and produce master digital templates.
Design and implement responsive / mobile designs for digital platforms.
Identify, select, and manage vendor relationships for printing services. Strategic & Analytical Contributions Proactively research market trends and customer preferences to create targeted and effective designs.
Compile and prepare graphic production budgets, schedules, and work plans.
Track and manage Creative KPIs monthly. Leadership & Training Mentor junior designers and support team growth as needed.
Bring fresh creative ideas and design solutions that align with emerging trends.
Delegate tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Contribute to evolving design processes and best practices within the team.
Additional Duties Ensure consistent adherence to brand and style guidelines across all projects.
Stay updated with emerging design trends and tools to enhance creative outputs.
Assist in creating and maintaining an organized digital asset library for the team. Skills and Qualifications Technical Proficiency Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) .
Figma experience is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Familiarity with web content management systems and responsive design principles.
Creative and Analytical Skills Strong sense of composition, typography, color theory, layout, and grid systems.
Drawing skills preferred but not required.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience & Education Minimum of 7+ years of professional design experience, or 4 years in a lead designer role.
Associate’s or higher degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print design work. Soft Skills Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and pivot priorities when needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of firearms and related markets.
Experience in marketing design for retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
