Diesel Technician Opportunity

Location : East Point, GA

Experience Required : 2+ years in Diesel Mechanics

Salary : $35-$40 / hour, based on experience

As an advanced Diesel Mechanic, you will engage in both routine and sophisticated diagnostics and maintenance for diesel tractors and trailers. You will be key in diagnosing issues, providing estimates, and implementing solutions using diagnostic tools. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct preventive maintenance and standard inspections / repairs
• Diagnose causes of basic malfunctions and execute necessary repairs
• Perform minor repair work on fleet diesel equipment, including tractors and refrigeration units
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and preventive maintenance
• Ensure all equipment complies with required licensing and registration
• Install and repair onboard technology, such as computers and cameras
• Utilize various hand and power tools for tasks like inspecting brake systems and maintaining machinery
