About The Position

Job Title : Physician Assistant – Walk-In Clinic (Locum Tenens)

Location : Williston, ND

Setting : Outpatient Walk-In Clinic

FTE : Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

📅 Schedule :

Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week

No weekends, no on-call

Flexible start dates – credentialing within 30 days

🩺 Job Responsibilities :

Conduct physical exams and assess patient health conditions

Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses under protocol

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Perform sensitive examinations and minor procedures (e.g., I&D, suturing)

Prescribe and manage medications per clinic guidelines

Provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyle habits

Maintain accurate documentation within 24 hours using Allscripts AEHR

Collaborate with nursing and provider staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Make follow-up calls as needed

Adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards

Perform additional duties as assigned

💡 Case Volume & Types :

Up to 40 patients per day , depending on complexity

Zero admissions – strictly outpatient

Common visits include :

Cough, cold, flu

Minor injuries and lacerations

UTIs, rashes, STD testing

General acute illness and walk-in primary care concerns

👨‍⚕️ Support Staff Includes :

Primary Care Physicians

1 Nurse per Provider

Triage Nurses

CNAs

⚙ Credentialing Timeline : ~30 Days

No credentialing with additional facilities

No billing enrollment required

🛫 Travel & Lodging :

Preferences to be discussed upon submission

Air travel and local lodging support available

Board Certified or Board Eligible – Required

ND License or IMLC with LOQ in hand – Required

BLS & DEA Certification – Required
