Wage : $18.85 / hour

Shift : 2nd

Hours : 3 : 30pm-1am

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Lake Mills, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained; report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate good manufacturing practices
• Verify materials received against purchase requisition
• Transport materials and items from receiving and / or to designated areas using a forklift or hand truck
• Cross trained on production positions (cutter, palletizer, dumper, relief operator) to be able to fill in for production employees on vacation or call ins
• Maintain Assembly Warehouse; ensure neat and orderly storage of material
• Determine material needed, material location, and proper destination
• Release material to production area
• Notify supervisor of low inventory supply
• Operate forklift to lift heavier material and equipment, which needs to be transported
• Periodically, take inventory of material equipment, which needs to be transported
• Assist with basic production needs
• Ensure paperwork and data input into the computer system (SAP) is accurate
• Rotate stock in proper order
